Welcome to my blog!!
My name is Gul Aftab Ahmed and I am a PhD student in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. I am working in Center for Novel Computing a research group of SSG with Dr Len Freeman. I am interested in high performance computing (HPC) , performance optimization and parallel programming models. Currently, I am investigating a parallel programming model which is aimed to reduce programmers effort to write scientific applications on modern hardware.
I have a Master’s degree in High Performance Computing from the University of Manchester and Master in Software Engineering (MSE) from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan.
This blog contains material more or less for my own reference. However, I’ll be more than happy if this stuff is of any help to my visitors.
Thanks,
Hello Gul,
Interesting blog. Have you worked on the LHC project?
Thanks.
No,I haven’t worked there but I appreciate science and somehow I feel relevant to them as my research interest lies in resource hungry computing
Gul bhai,
i hope you are fine and in good health. I was just browsing the LHC and came to your blog. So nice to hear from you. What are you doing these dayz. Back pain ka keya bana???
